This Privacy Policy describes how PinNote ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information.

TL;DR

We don't collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What data the App handles

PinNote is designed to function entirely on your device. We do not operate any server, analytics, or tracking system.

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your notes — text content, colors, formatting, and order. Stored in iOS UserDefaults on your device.
• Trial start date — the date you first launched the App. Stored in the iOS Keychain and Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store (linked to your Apple ID). Used solely to enforce the 7-day free trial.
• Purchase status — a flag indicating whether you've completed the one-time unlock purchase. Stored in the iOS Keychain and iCloud Key-Value Store. Subscription status is not stored by the App; it is verified directly with Apple (StoreKit) each time the App launches.

These items are never transmitted to us. We have no access to them.

Purchases and subscriptions

PinNote offers, after the free trial:

• A one-time purchase (lifetime unlock), and
• An auto-renewable monthly subscription.

All payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never receive or store your payment details. Subscription entitlements are checked with Apple on each launch; we keep no local copy of your subscription state. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
